Child Development & Education
Shurokkha works with families, schools, and communities to support children’s safe development, quality education, nutrition, protection, and access to inclusive learning opportunities.
Programme Overview
The Child Development & Education Programme aims to support the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and educational development of children. Through early childhood development, education support, nutrition, child protection, safe care, and capacity building for families and communities, we work to create enabling environments where children can thrive.
Why This Programme Matters
The early years of life shape a child’s brain development, behaviour, learning capacity, and future wellbeing. Poverty, malnutrition, limited access to education, unsafe care, violence, neglect, and exclusion can have long-term effects. Timely support, safe environments, and quality education are essential for helping children reach their full potential.
