Shurokkha Youth Leadership & Volunteer Program is designed to develop skilled, motivated and socially responsible youth volunteers who can contribute to community development while building their own leadership, communication and professional skills.
Who Can Join
College, A-Level and undergraduate students who are passionate about community service, learning and social impact.
Duration
3 months, approximately 30–40 volunteer hours.
Available Seats
Up to 5 volunteers in the pilot cohort.
Areas of Engagement
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assist awareness campaigns and outreach
- Support seminars, workshops and public events
- Facilitate registration and logistics
- Prepare meeting notes and documentation
- Support communication and social media
- Assist photography and event reporting
- Represent Shurokkha under staff supervision
- Contribute youth-led initiative ideas
Community Action Challenge
Each volunteer or the group will design and implement one small community initiative, such as a school handwashing session, tree plantation, plastic-free campus campaign, anti-drug awareness discussion or disaster preparedness session.
